Frequently asked questions

Is the invoice maker really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no limit on invoices and no watermark over your document, only a small "Made with Toos Tools" line in the footer. It works in your browser, even on a slow connection.
Where are my invoices saved?
Only on this device, in your browser. Nothing is uploaded: not your logo, not your clients, not your prices. Your business details, the last number you used and your recent documents are kept so the next invoice is quicker. You can turn that off, download a backup, or clear everything with one button.
How do I send an invoice on WhatsApp?
Tap "Share". On most phones this sends the PDF itself, so you can pick WhatsApp and the client. Where a browser cannot share files, WhatsApp opens with a short summary of the invoice and you attach the PDF you downloaded.
Can I make a receipt for an EVC Plus or eDahab payment?
Yes. Choose "Receipt", add the items, then pick how it was paid: cash, EVC Plus, eDahab, Zaad, Sahal, bank transfer or card. The receipt shows the amount received and a "Paid" stamp. From an invoice, tap "Make a receipt" to reuse the same client and items.
Can I add VAT or sales tax, a discount and delivery?
Yes. Set a tax rate and its name (VAT, GST, sales tax), a discount as a percentage or an amount, and a delivery charge. The discount is taken off before tax, and delivery is added after tax.
Can the invoice be in Somali?
Yes. The document language is separate from this page: you can make an invoice in Somali or English, whichever your client reads. Currencies include US dollars, Somali shillings and the currencies of the region.
I changed phones. How do I keep my invoices?
Tap "Download backup" on the old phone, then "Restore backup" on the new one and choose the file. Your business details, logo, signature and saved documents come back.
